UNA-UK is privileged to be able to draw on two sets of experts who provide advice to the Association on policy matters:
Policy Advisory Group
UNA-UK established a Policy Advisory Group (PAG) in 2012, following the adoption of its 2011-15 strategic plan, which included provisions for such a group.
The PAG will support the UNA-UK Board and staff in identifying policy priorities and strategic policy objectives for the organisation’s operational plans and policy conferences, and in determining which areas to focus on in the long term. The Group will also provide guidance on how the organisation should respond to arising issues, and advice on advocacy and campaigning.
Virtual advisory panel
UNA-UK's 'virtual' expert advisory panel brings together the UK's leading experts on issues of relevance to the UN.
The panel has no formal role within UNA-UK's governance structures but acts as an invaluable resource for UNA-UK staff and members.
