Rob Lloyd, former chair of the Welwyn and Hatfield Branch and a former chair of the Eastern Region Council, died on the 18 January 2014. He was a long-time supporter of the UN and member of UNA who worked tirelessly to organise the Branch until it was not possible to find enough committee members to keep it going, and the members were transferred to the Harpenden Branch. He then served for some time as a member of our committee.
He was also active in the regional and national activities of UNA as well as in many other similar organisations. As well as his support for these causes he was a civil engineer for the Herts County Council, a musician, poet and dedicated family man.
