After a short welcome and business time, a panel of three speakers will lead discussion on practical strategies and successes that African women can share to make their lives safe and peaceful. The panel will consist of Catherine Pluygers, Chair of UNA-UK, London and SE Region; Marie-Lyse Numuhoza of WILPF-UK on the the Voices of African Women Campaign on the African Women's Decade (2010 - 2020); and Rainatou Sow, Executive Director of 'Make Every Woman Count,' who will talk about African Women in Leadership and the implementation of the Maputo Protocol.
