UNA Harrogate: SDG13: climate – designing a carbon literacy course

We are delighted to have Tami Pein and Natalia Phipps in the hot seat for our September UNA Harrogate meeting. Tami and Natalia are designing a Carbon Literacy Course that is adaptable to different communities, businesses and organisations around Yorkshire. They would like UNA attendees to help them in the design process and to work out what content would be important for different groups attending the course. 

Tami and Natalia are recently-qualified carbon literacy trainers and want to make sure the course is as impactful as possible. 

Carbon Literacy is defined as: “An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.” Find out more about it at: http://carbonliteracy.com/
