Public Event Volunteer (on the day support)

Interview date: Week commencing 11th February 2019
Requirements: To attend 2 training days (29th & 30th May) and the day of the event on the 3rd June (from Midday to evening)
As an Event Volunteer you’ll be part of a team of volunteers helping to set up and support the running of our biggest public event of the year. You will be involved in the planning and preparation to setting up and running activities on the day. The position suits someone looking for a role that’s hands on and who has three days to commit across May and June.
The role requires a combination of excellent teamwork and communication skills, with having a friendly and enthusiastic manner. This role can sometimes be physically demanding and you may be on your feet all day.

Successful candidates will be invited to have to a Skype interview conversation likely to be commencing in the week of 11th February 2019. The position will involve two training days in May (29th and 30th TBC) and on the day support on 3 June. Please make sure you are available on these dates.
