  Westminster UNA tackles global challenges at ‘We The Peoples’ Film Festival

Westminster UNA have opened doors to their 11th ‘We The Peoples’ Film Festival. Films are running throughout November in venues across London. Free tickets available!

Westminster UNA is one of UNA-UK’s 100 local groups, raising awareness of global issues and the work of the United Nations in communities across the country.

‘We The Peoples’ Film Festival showcases films that tackle issues around the world - from Rwanda to the Silicon Valley - that relate to the challenges that face the the United Nations. The festival aims to increase awareness and support in the UK and global film industry for the work of the UN, its agencies and Non-Governmental Organisations.

The festival runs throughout this month and will close its doors on 22 November at the Lights Of Soho, where films will be shown on life under drones, the Bosnian genocide, and how overfishing and pirate fishing in Thailand fuels human trafficking and the plundering of our oceans.
