WACUNA: Meeting and discussion on how men and women can achieve gender equity and equality

After a short business meeting, there will be a presentation by panel of speakers on “How can men and women collaborate for more gender equity and equality in a just world?” 

The panellists are:- 1) Francisco Yermo, Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy Advisor, Action Aid UK.
2) Barbara Cleary, Trustee Board Director of UN Women UK, and Chair of the London Leadership Team. She is Trustee and Vice-Chair of NAWO (the National Alliance of Women’s Organisations). She is a Human Resource specialist, with her consultancy Headstart.  She is passionate about improving the lives of women and men around the world. 
3) Suzanne Long, Immediate Past Chairman, WACUNA-UK. She had previously worked as a member of UNA-UK staff on human rights and migration.
All are welcome, but please confirm your attendance soon - at least before 14 June 2016 - with the Hon. Secretary Mrs. Rubi Bhattacharyya, as the venue need to know the names of attendees for security reasons.
