Jason`s presentation will focus on the following:

What role can Faith based NGOs play in working with local communities to address issues of poverty and injustice and can faith make a significant difference? How can this be a positive difference rather than creating divisions between different faiths? Does this mean a faith based organisation is better than an organisation with no faith basis, or just different? How do faith based organisations work with those of different faiths or no faith? Will include examples of how World Vision works with faith leaders and other faith based organisations to tackle issues around HIV and AIDS, gender relations, child protection, child health, community empowerment, livelihoods and agriculture.

There will also be a very short Annual General Meeting of the Warwick District United Nations Association which will take place at 12:15 pm prompt. Our Speaker will address the meeting at 12:30 pm as normal.

There will be the usual Ploughman`s Lunch including tea/coffee - £3.50 per head.
