The guest speaker, Barrie Bain, is a consultant to the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA), advising on United Nations affairs and working on behalf of the fertilizer industry on international issues affecting the industry at the UN and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). He is also involved in the Private Sector Mechanism at the FAO and Committee for World Food Security, working on the development of the Sustainable Development Goals for these sectors.
