This workshop explores just a few options available to people in Harrogate for carbon offsetting.  Clive will be joined by John Harris who chairs the Harrogate Homeless Project and is a trustee of the Royal Hall restoration trust and has a powerful vision for establishing a Harrogate Climate Offsetting Scheme; Terry Knowles, a member of the Rotary Club of Harrogate and who runs the Nidderdale Forest Project which has already planted some 20,000 native hardwood trees; Clare Collins who is head of fundraising for the Open Arms Infant Homes in Malawi, a popular Harrogate based charity with a vision that fruit forests could bring food, alleviate poverty and mitigate climate change in one project; and (all being well) Luwayo Biswick who is already doing much of this work already at his Permaculture Paradise Institute in Malawi.  Attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions to our panellists.
