After acquiring a Post Graduate Certificate in Global Governance and Public Policy and having accumulated 4 years of communications, digital PR and campaigning experience, Ben joined UNA-UK in April 2011.
As Head of Campaigns, Ben coordinates UNA-UK’s major campaigns and associated actions, ensuring a strategic, joined up approach to key constituencies, including UK Government, parliamentarians, UNA-UK’s networks, NGO partners and the public. Ben is also responsible for the organisation's digital presence, including its website and social media channels.
Ben leads on the charity's policy work on arms control and disarmant, with a particular focus on UNA-UK’s Campaign for a Strong Arms Trade Treaty, having represented the organisation at the Final UN Arms Trade Treaty Conference in New York (March 2013) as part of the Control Arms Coalition.
As well as providing research and policy support across the organisation, Ben coordinates the UN All-Party Parliamentary Group.
