We were delighted that Welsh launch of the United Nations Association’s Young Professionals Network took place from 7.00pm to 9.30pm on 9 November 2006, at the National Assembly for Wales, Cardiff. This event, which was hosted by the First Minister for Wales, Rt Hon. Rhodri Morgan AM, and organised in conjunction with UNA Wales, was an opportunity for parliamentarians, Assembly Members and dynamic professionals in their 20s and 30s to meet informally over canapés and a glass of wine. Ashok Ahir from the BBC also gave an insight into BBC Wales’s coverage of international affairs. UNA-UK would like to thank those who attended the YPN Wales launch.
