The Young Professionals Network (YPN) held a drinks reception at the Locarno Suite in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on 14 November 2006.

The reception provided an opportunity to welcome new YPN members and strengthen the Network as it moves forward into a busy period. The event also served as a chance to launch a programme of forthcoming activities the Network will be hosting over the coming months. This will commence on 21 November with the first in a four-part seminar series aiming to encourage private sector involvement in the work of the UN in alleviating poverty and achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
