Happy New Year to you all, we hope you enjoyed the holiday period!
In 2009, UNYSA-UK set out a tough agenda and worked hard at furthering its mission to inform and unite on the role of the United Nations in addressing the many challenges the world faces today.
Our 'Stop the Spread' nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament campaign is now well underway. Let us know what you think of the campaign so far and send us your suggestions on what more we could do by clicking here.
In December, as part of our 'Seal the Deal' climate campaign, UNYSA-UK members turned out in force for The Wave demo in London. Over 50,000 people took to the streets to call for urgent action at the Copenhagen climate conference.

|
Youth Council Campaigns and Policy Officer Chris Day was fortunate enough to attend the Copenhagen summit and wrote about his experiences inside and outside the conference centre. Click here to read his blog.
All in all, it's been a good year...but 2010 promises to be even better! We've secured an amazing speaker line-up for our Annual Conference on 27 March - we know you won't want to miss it!
