UNA-UK co-hosted looby 2006 with Action for UN Renewal. Lobby 2006 focussed on the UN's role in:

• combating catastrophic climate change
• stemming nuclear proliferation
• implementing the responsibility to protect in Darfur
• pursuing economic justice to make Millennium Development Goals more achievable
• reinvigorating the Middle East peace process

The lobby was launched in the Boothroyd Room in Portcullis House, Westminster on UN Day, 24 October. Introductions were given by Hugh Robertson MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the UN, and Lord Hannay, Chair of UNA-UK, with presentations given by Ashok Sinha, Director of Stop Climate Chaos; Paul Ingram, Senior Analyst at BASIC; and Patricia Rogers of the Jubilee Debt Campaign.

The annual lobby of parliament is administered by UNA-UK. It is funded in part by a Polden-Puckham grant through Action for UN Renewal, as well as donations from individuals and endorsing organisations.
