The Summer 2010 issue of UNA-UK's flagship magazine, New World, leads with a feature on the UN Millennium Development Goals and an article by our Chair, Lord Hannay of Chiswick, on what the new UK government's priorities at the UN should be. The main essay, on negotiating the UN's budget, was written by Hannah Davies, a UN staffer and UNA-UK member.
This issue also features contributions on finance for development and updates on the UN's biggest peacekeeping mission, the new UN agency for women and the Robin Hood Tax Campaign. News from our members, branches, student and young professional supporters is, as always, featured throughout the magazine.
