The Autumn 2011 issue of New World is dedicated to peace and security.

The issue features an exclusive interview with Alain Le Roy, outgoing head of UN peacekeeping operations, and articles on South Sudan, Sri Lanka and Malawi.

Our cover story puts the spotlight on children and armed conflict, with Marie Staunton, Chief Executive of Plan UK, writing on 'girls in the shadow of war'.
