UNA-UK Chair raises UK's 'Continuous at Sea Deterrence' policy with Foreign Secretary
On 18 June 2010 UNA-UK Chair Lord Hannay of Chiswick wrote to the Foreign Secretary in follow-up to the May 2010 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference. Yesterday Lord Hannay sent a further letter, in response to the Foreign Secretary’s reply of 30 June 2010, in which he raised the Government’s exclusion of the UK’s Continuous at Sea Deterrence policy from its Strategic Defence and Security Review.
