UNA-UK POLICY CONFERENCE 2011 This page provides information for UNA-UK members, branches, regions, nations and constituent bodies wishing to submit policy motions to the June 2011 conference in Cardiff
IUNA-UK policy priorities are debated and agreed by its membership at regular policy-making conferences. Ahead of the conferences, UNA-UK members are invited to submit motions to the conference Procedure Committee, which decides whether they are admissible. In order to be admissible, motions must:
Once received, these motions are grouped into the above policy areas by the Committee, and circulated to all UNA-UK branches, regions and nations, UNYSA branches and Youth Council, and all members registered to attend Conference in the form of a ‘Preliminary Agenda’. These constituencies will be invited to submit comments and amendments to the motions received, and to complete a ballot form to determine which policy areas are discussed in plenary sessions, and which in the smaller policy commissions. Once this has been completed, a ‘Final Agenda’ will be distributed.
