UNA-UK Climate Change Conference Series 2008-09
Join the UNA-UK at a series of free one-day conferences to discuss climate change from an international, national and local perspective. Help generate a critical mass of support and pressure in the UK for British leadership on the world stage in the fight against climate change. The first conference took place on 7 June 2008 in Birmingham. The conference was well attended and featured expert speakers, interactive workshops and information stalls. Two further events are being planned for the autumn of 2008 and early 2009 – one in Wales and the other in Scotland. The conferences will consider these questions:
