The conference - to feature expert speakers, interactive workshops and information stalls - will evaluate what solutions are needed at the international, national and local levels if the challenge of climate change is to be met with necessary action. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. |
..What we'll be discussing |
National governments bear responsibility for implementing policies to reduce emissions. What is the UK government doing to promote a shift to a low-carbon, high-growth economy at home? Could it do more to help British business make the necessary changes? Communities, businesses and individuals, too, need to take responsibility for their practices. How is local government addressing the problem? What steps can businesses take to make their operations more sustainable? What can you do - as a voter and a consumer - to help tackle climate change? |
